U.S. Representative Andy Ogles (R–TN-05) and U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) have announced which guests will accompany them to President Joe Biden’s 2024 State of the Union Address on Thursday.

Hagerty’s guest will be Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, according to a report by The Tennessean.

“I’m looking forward to joining Senator Hagerty at the State of the Union address,” Lee said in a statement to the outlet. “Senator Hagerty is a strong voice in Washington, ensuring that our Tennessee values are protected and we continue leading the nation as a beacon of opportunity, security and freedom.”

Another resident of Tennessee attending Thursday’s speech will be DailyWire host Michael Knowles at the invitation of Ogles.

“I am thrilled to welcome Michael J. Knowles to Capitol Hill as my guest for the State of the Union,” Ogles said in a statement. “He is an incredible voice for the conservative movement, offering thoughtful challenges and fresh perspectives. Not only do we share strong convictions but a love of Tennessee and the values it represents.”

Knowles responded to Ogles’ invitation, saying, “It’s a great honor to attend the State of the Union—and all the more so as the guest of Congressman Ogles, who has proven himself to be among the most principled and courageous conservatives, not only in Congress or the State of Tennessee, but in the country.”

“I look forward to the President’s address as we all look forward to the course correction that will follow come November,” Knowles added.

Biden’s State of the Union will be held at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) on Thursday.

The White House said Biden will discuss his “commitment to lowering costs, taking on drug companies again, protecting women’s reproductive health, saving democracy, and uniting the country” in his speech.
