First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Tennessee for a purported “political event” reportedly occurring at the home of country music star Brad Paisley.

According to press reports citing a White House media advisory, the First Lady is expected to land in Nashville on Friday afternoon for an unspecified “political event” that will take place in Franklin.

WSMV 4 reported that the media advisory revealed Biden will land in Nashville at 3:30 p.m., but revealed, “It’s unclear from the media advisory what event” she will attend.

A separate report by The Tennessee Lookout seems to indicate the political event Biden plans to attend will be “an event at country music star Brad and Kim Paisley’s home to join country music influencers before potential endorsements of President Biden.”

Though the White House has not confirmed the event at the Paisley home, President Joe Biden and the First Lady have benefited from their relationship with the country music star.

Jill Biden was joined by the artist at a vaccine site in Nashville in 2021, where the duo promoted the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines at an event that featured a speech by the First Lady and brief musical performance by Paisley.

Paisley would later perform for the Bidens and their guests in the East Room of the White House in 2023.

It was later reported by The Guardian that the audience was bipartisan, and Paisley performed for about 40 minutes and changed a line in one of his songs to include a reference to the Ukrainian flag, prompting fierce applause by Joe Biden.

Paisley also performed his new song, Same Here, which features Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky speaking to the artist in a recorded video call in its official release.

Despite his apparent close relationship with the Biden family, after the 2016 election, Paisley expressed optimism the United States could move past the tumultuous election, declaring to PEOPLE that he was “really sick of this climate” and “really sick of the negativity.”

“When you see Obama and Trump shake hands, and seem to show respect to one another — that is what we need,” Paisley told the outlet in 2016.

The rumor the Biden campaign is actively attempting to secure endorsements from country music artists comes amid intense speculation that Taylor Swift is planning to endorse the president prior to the November elections.
