Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to all 37 charges at the Miami courthouse during his arraignment on Tuesday.

He stayed at his property in Doral on Monday evening.

Trump was charged with 37 counts for his alleged mishandling of classified documents. The arraignment was scheduled to take place at 3 p.m.

Federal, state and local authorities have been beefing up security at the courthouse in advance of the 2024 GOP presidential primary candidate’s appearance.

Protests have formed outside of the courthouse.

Cameras have reportedly been banned from the courtroom for the arraignment. It is unclear if Trump’s mugshot will be taken.

Alina Habba, one of former President Trump’s lawyers said the targeted “prosecution of a leading political opponent is the type of thing you see in dictatorships like Cuba and Venezuela.”

”It is commonplace there for rival candidates to be prosecuted, persecuted, and put into jail,” she said on Tuesday.
