A Tennessee woman has been charged with domestic terrorism by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for participating in the Sunday attack on Atlanta police officers and construction equipment at the proposed Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.

Zoe Claire Larmey, 25, from Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested and charged on Sunday night in connection to the attack, according to booking information by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
Larmey was a part of the group of “violent agitators” that used the cover of a “peaceful protest of the proposed Atlanta Public Safety Training Center to conduct a coordinated attack on construction equipment and police officers,” the Atlanta Police Department (APD) stated in a press release.
According to Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum, the protesters changed into black clothing before arriving at the training center at approximately 5:30 p.m. from a nearby event.
Schierbaum called the incident a “very violent attack,” adding, “this wasn’t about a public safety training center – this was about anarchy, and this was about the attempt to destabilize.”
APD released footage of the attack on Monday, which showed individuals throwing items, including large rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks, at police officers.

An aerial video of the attack, also released by APD, showed the group knocking over some of the construction equipment as the site became overrun with dozens of protesters.

As a result of the attack, “multiple pieces of construction equipment” were destroyed by fire and vandalism, according to APD.
So far, according to APD, 35 people have been arrested so far in connection to the attack, and 23 – including Larmey – have been charged with domestic terrorism.
“The illegal actions of the agitators could have resulted in bodily harm. Officers exercised restraint and used non-lethal enforcement to conduct arrests,” APD added.
