A U.S. senator from Tennessee has spent the past few days campaigning nationwide for fellow Republicans who are vying for critical seats in Tuesday’s midterm elections.

“I look forward to working alongside [Ted Budd] in the U.S. Senate, but we need your help to make sure that can happen,” said U.S. Sen. Bill Hagerty late last week, attaching a video of himself with Budd on the campaign trail.

“I’m right here in Siler City, North Carolina campaigning with my good friend Ted Budd today,” he said in the video. “You can feel the momentum right now. Ted’s got it moving. We’re going to win this state. Ted’s gonna be a great colleague in the United States Senate. We need your help to make this happen.”

Budd is a former U.S. congressman from North Carolina.

Hagerty is not up for re-election this year, freeing up his schedule to help other Republicans get elected.

His next stop on the campaign trail was New Hampshire, a typically blue state that has the opportunity to elect a Republican U.S. senator this year.

“I’m in New Hampshire today campaigning with [General Don Bolduc], and we need your help to turn New Hampshire red on Tuesday,” Hagerty said at the end of last week on Twitter, attaching another video with the candidate.

“It’s a great morning here in New Hampshire and it’s going to be a great day on Tuesday with your help,” said Hagerty. “I’m here with General Don Bolduc right now. We’re going to see New Hampshire turn red. Don is going to be my colleague in the U.S. Senate with your help. This is a tight race, but he has just pulled ahead in the polls. I’m here campaigning with him today and I can tell you the energy here is palpable. We’re gonna turn the Senate red.”

But Hagerty did not end his tour in New Hampshire.

He headed on to Nevada to campaign for Nevada’s former attorney general and U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt.

“The people of Nevada are ready to elect [Adam Laxalt] on Tuesday, but we need your help to get across the finish line,” he said, attaching yet another stump video.

“I’m here on the campaign bus with Adam Laxalt,” he said. “It’s great to be here in Nevada. The energy is palpable here. Adam has run a great race. He’s gonna be a great U.S. senator. Do everything you can to support him right now. Let’s bring this across the finish line.”

The midterm elections are being held Tuesday nationwide.
