Latino Media Network (LMN), the group that secured the cash to buy out 18 radio stations across the country including stations in Florida, announced its newly transitioned radio stations will be used to fight right-wing “disinformation.”

LMN secured its invested cash in part because of a push from George Soros, the businessman and philanthropist who has funded countless left-wing causes and candidates in the United States. The effort comes from Democrat groups as Hispanic voters abandon the Democrat Party in droves and are becoming Republicans.

One of the radio stations being bought out is the historic Spanish Language radio station “Radio Mambí” in Miami. Radio Mambí has been a mainstay in South Florida’s Hispanic community for decades, particularly for Cuban exiles, for the station’s conservative commentary against the communist and Marxist ideology and policies of the Castro regime.

Florida Congressman Darren Soto (D-FL-09) came out in support of the buyout.

“We had MAJOR victory against right wing Spanish radio disinformation efforts this week,” Soto tweeted. “Latino Media Network buys 18 major Spanish-language stations from TelevisaUnivision. It includes Miami’s Radio Mambí, & NY, CA, IL, TX, & NV stations.”

“There are elements of Radio Mambí that are really important to preserve,” said Stephanie Valencia, a Latino outreach director for former President Barack Obama, and part of the leadership spearheading the buyout. “It has been an important part of the community and experience in Miami.”

Valencia continued saying many Latinos are having to wade through right-wing “disinformation.”

“Latinos are constantly trying to navigate the ocean of information,” Valencia said. “In some cases that is disinformation, in some cases that is very one-sided communication.”

Conservatives in the media have sounded the alarm over the potential of being silenced by the new left-wing institution controlling the narrative among the Spanish-language radio stations.

“We are legally alerting the conservative Hispanic media audience to the realities of the Soros takeover of Radio Mambí on multiple platforms,” Jorge Arrizurieta, the president of Americano Media, said of the Soros text blast sent as part of an effort to promote the outlet. “We will continue with this marketing campaign.”

The buyout even got the attention of Florida Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez (R).

“While Soros and the radical left attempt to silence conservative and anti-communist voices on Spanish radio, @RonDeSantisFL and I are fighting back,” Nuñez tweeted. “Our South Florida community won’t be influenced by leftist indoctrination in the free state of Florida.”
