After a week of sparring with President Joe Biden and the Biden administration, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) launched a new ad that highlights his plan for the future of America.

“How do you destroy the economy?” Scott asks rhetorically in the ad. “Look around. Joe Biden and the ‘woke Democrats are doing it.”

Scott directs viewers to a website where his full plan can be viewed.

The feud between Biden and Scott began Tuesday, just before Biden addressed the nation on his plan to combat decades-high inflation.

Scott released a statement calling on Biden to resign:

It’s simple. The most effective thing Joe Biden can do to solve the inflation crisis he created is resign. He’s the problem. Getting him out of office is a quick and easy solution.

Let’s be honest here. Joe Biden is unwell. He’s unfit for office. He’s incoherent, incapacitated and confused. He doesn’t know where he is half the time. He’s incapable of leading and he’s incapable of carrying out his duties. Period.

Everyone knows it. No one is willing to say it. But we have to, for the sake of the country. Joe Biden can’t do the job.

Later that day, in his speech, Biden bizarrely blamed Scott himself and the Republican Party for the skyrocketing inflation.

“Sen. Rick Scott of Wisconsin, a member of the Senate Republican leadership, laid it all out in a plan. It’s the ultra-MAGA agenda,” Biden said, wrongly saying that Scott was from Wisconsin.

“The other path is the ultra-MAGA plan, put forward by Congressional Republicans – to raise taxes on working families, lower the income of American workers, threaten sacred programs that Americans count on like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, and give break after break to big corporations and billionaires,” he continued.

Scott’s “Rescue America Plan” features 11 points, including education, where he says we will “inspire patriotism and stop teaching the revisionist history of the radical left,” what he calls “color blind equity,” described as eliminating racial politics in America, a focus on safety and fighting crime, securing the border, government spending reforms, and other points.

Point 11 broadly lists “America First” as a topic of focus.

“America will be dependent on NO other country. We will conduct no trade that takes away jobs or displaces American workers. Countries who oppose us at the UN will get zero financial help from us,” that point says. “We will be energy-independent and build supply chains that never rely on our adversaries. We will only help countries that are willing to defend themselves, like Israel.”

Scott’s office did not return a Friday comment request.
