James O’Keefe, president and founder of Project Veritas, was permanently banned from Twitter after he posted a series of embarrassing and damning videos exposing the left-wing activism of CNN.

In an email to O’Keefe, Twitter claimed that the muckraker had violated its rules regarding “fake and misleading accounts” to “manipulate Twitter conversations.”

O’Keefe on Telegram denied that he had violated any rules regarding fake accounts, and vowed to sue Twitter for defamation.

“This is false, this is defamatory, and they will pay,” O’Keefe said in a statement.

The @Project_Veritas account was also permanently banned by Twitter in February.

“This is how big tech works with liberal corporate media to take down challengers,” independent journalist Andy Ngo noted in a tweet.

In a mass email to supporters, O’Keefe said, “clearly, Jack Dorsey is running interference for his buddies in the Mainstream Media.”

O’Keefe’s full statement is below:

I am suing Twitter for defamation because they said I, James O’Keefe, “operated fake accounts.” This is false, this is defamatory, and they will pay. Section 230 may have protected them before, but it will not protect them from me. The complaint will be filed Monday. Please follow me on Telegram https://t.me/JamesOKeefeIII
