The mother of Laken Riley, the college student slain by an illegal immigrant, is blasting President Joe Biden for fumbling her late daughter’s name during his nationally televised State of the Union address.
”Biden does not even KNOW my child’s name – it’s pathetic!” Allyson Phillips wrote Friday on Facebook after Biden mistakenly called her daughter “Lincoln” when challenged to say her name.
“If you are going to say her name (even when forced to do so) at least say the right name!” Phillips added.
The mispronunciation only added to the president’s awkward moment during Thursday’s address, which began when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene interrupted the speech to challenge Biden to say Riley’s name.
“Lincoln Riley!” Biden said. “An innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal. That’s right,” Biden responded. “But how many of the thousands of people being killed by illegals? To her parents, I say, my heart goes out to you having lost children myself. I understand.”
