Former abortionist turned pro-life advocate Dr. Haywood Robinson is set to headline the Memphis Coalition for Life’s Help Them Have Birthdays event on February 27.
The event will be held at First Evangelical Church in Memphis from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The pro-life organization says Robinson (pictured above), who formerly worked with his late wife Noreen Johnson, M.D., to perform abortions before his “salvation in 1986,” will share his journey and insights on how local prayer campaigns can “save unborn babies, even in abortion-banned states” during his speech at the event.
“People in Memphis have made extraordinary sacrifices to expose the abortion industry and to protect pre-born children and their mothers from abortion,” Robinson said in a statement. “I’m honored to be able to join these folks in prayer. Their efforts illustrate why we’re seeing historic changes – more mothers choosing life, more abortion workers experiencing conversions and leaving the abortion industry, and more abortion centers closing their doors for good.”
The Memphis Coalition for Life’s Help Them Have Birthdays event is part of its participation in the Spring 40 Days for Life prayer campaign, which is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses.
Robinson serves as the director of medical affairs & education of the 40 Days for Life project.
“We are tremendously pleased that Haywood will be here to support our 40 Days for Life effort,” Executive Director of Memphis Coalition For Life Jessie Wade said. “He’s an energetic, enthusiastic speaker, and we know he will be an inspiration.”
While the event is open to the public, individuals interested in attending the Help Them Have Birthdays event must RSVP on the organization’s website.
