As New York City continues to be swarmed by hordes of third world illegal aliens, the administration of Mayor Eric Adams (D-N.Y.) has turned to yet another solution: Offer them free travel to any destination they choose.

According to Politico, Adams turns to this latest move as the shelters continue to overflow with illegals, with concerns surrounding the increased cost of housing them and the brutality of the coming winter months for those who cannot find shelter.

“When you are out of room, that means you’re out of room,” Adams said on Tuesday. “Every year, my relatives show up for Thanksgiving, and they want to all sleep at my house. There’s no more room. That’s where we are right now.”

As such, many of the new arrivals are being sent to an office dedicated to booking plane tickets rather than finding shelter space. However, this decision is sure to spark accusations of hypocrisy, as Adams infamously criticized Republican governors and other Republican officials for sending busloads of illegals from red states to his own city; such publicity stunts, started by Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R-Texas), were meant to expose the double-standard of Democrats who voice support for open borders yet refuse to take in illegals themselves.

Adams is also facing criticism from his left flank, with some city officials accusing him of not showing enough “inclusivity” towards illegals.

“What we’ve witnessed from this administration — even if they’re not directly saying ‘you’ve got to get out of here’ — is that they’ve consistently created hysteria and chaos and confusion and have not used a tone of inclusivity and welcome,” said City Council member Shahana Hanif (D-N.Y.).

Adams’ “reticketing” plan was announced amid an ongoing surge of illegal aliens due to the Biden Administration’s refusal to enforce immigration laws, with 130,000 illegals arriving in the city since last year. Adams had previously implemented other restrictions such as temporary stays in shelters, with the latest arrivals allowed to only stay for 30 days before being evicted. With pre-existing homeless shelters already filled up, Adams has forced many other facilities, including hotels, churches, and schools, to be transformed into temporary shelters, sparking backlash from New Yorkers over safety concerns.
