GRAMMY Award-nominated Thomas Rhett, reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Lainey Wilson, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Lynyrd Skynyrd will headline the live show for Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park this year.

This year’s event will feature nearly 50 performances from locations across Music City. It will be televised on the CBS Television Network and available to stream on Paramount+, according to the network’s press release.

Additional hosts and performers for the event are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The event will be executive produced by Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington in partnership with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp.

“Building on what we have established over the last two years by focusing on our artists, the fans and the vibrancy of downtown Nashville, this year’s lineup is shaping up to be our most exciting yet,” Deaton said in a statement, “We will celebrate 50 years of the iconic southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, the skyrocketing Lainey Wilson and country music superstar Thomas Rhett, with over a dozen artists and special guests still to be announced. “Nashville is quickly becoming THE destination for New Year’s Eve, and we are honored that CBS wants to help us continue to show off our music and incredible city with a new multi-year deal!”

This year’s event will be the 15th annual New Year’s Eve concert in Nashville and the seventh year of it being held at Bicentennial Park.

“Big Bash will celebrate the start of 2024 with three incredible headliners who promise to deliver unforgettable performances,” President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. Deana Ivey said in a statement. “We are thrilled to once again join forces with CBS to spotlight Nashville’s vibrant live music scene to the rest of the country. Beyond the economic impact, we also host this event as a gift back to the community to come together and enjoy great music in one of the many beautiful parks in the city.”

Last year’s live New Year’s Eve broke records and exceeded expectations in both direct visitor spending and attendance, as previously reported by The Tennessee Star.
