In episode 27 of his newest production, “Tucker on X,” Tucker Carlson interviewed historian and frequent guest on the former primetime host’s Fox News show, Victor Davis Hanson.

Carlson’s 33-minute interview with Hanson surrounded Monday’s news of former President Donald Trump’s first day present at a New York courthouse for his civil fraud trial. Last September, New York Attorney General Letitia James sued the former president, alleging Trump and his business engaged in fraud linked to some of his personal and business properties.

During Monday’s trial, Justice Arthur Engoron posed for the cameras, to which Carlson noted he looked as if he were “on stage in a middle school play, grinning, preening for the cameras.”

“Arthur Engoron is thrilled to be on MSNBC. It’s nauseating. This is not a legal proceeding, This is a grotesque parody of the systems that our forefathers created, the fairest in the world that in the years since has been seized by power worshippers like Arthur Engoron,” Carlson said.

“This is a dangerous moment. Without a legitimate legal system, people will no longer follow the law and the country will collapse,” Carlson added, before introducing Hanson.

In giving his overview of the current situation, Hanson said, “I think they have come to the conclusion that Trump represented an existential threat and by association, half of the country did to their vision of what they want to transform us into. And so they feel that any means necessary are justified by their noble spiritual ends…They feel they’re at a stage now where their agenda does not appeal to 51 percent of the people and they either have to bring in new constituencies or change the system – the entire system of which we are acculturated to retain power.

“We don’t realize we’re in the middle of a revolution. We think that we’re still playing within the same sidelines or parameters,” Hanson added.

As of press time, the latest installment of Carlson’s video podcast, posted at 6:24 p.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, had over 28.7 million views. The 27 episodes posted by @TuckerCarlson have been seen nearly 2 billion times on Twitter / X.
