James So, 27, was arrested Thursday night following grand jury indictments for aggravated rape, four counts of statutory rape, three counts of rape, and two counts of sexual battery, according to FPD.
FPD notes that all charges were against one victim, a 17-year-old female, occurred during a single encounter.
According to information by FDP, the encounter happened inside the Premier Athletics located on Gothic Court in Franklin and was reported to authorities in March. After the incident was reported, police conducted an investigation which included an “exhaustive review of evidence in the case,” which was then presented to a Williamson County Grand Jury.
So (pictured above) is behind bars on a $300,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on July 26, according to FPD.
Noting that they do not currently think there are other victims of So, FPD detectives want to hear from anyone with information that might be relevant. Those with information should call (615) 794-2513.
This incident comes one year after a man was arrested for hiding a GoPro camera in the restroom of Franklin’s Premier Athletics from August 2020 to January 2021.
This incident also comes days after a Franklin soccer coach – revealed to be an illegal alien – was charged with rape and sexual exploitation of a minor.
On Sunday, the Franklin Police Department (FPD) announced that Camilo Hurtado Campos had been arrested after leaving his phone in a restaurant. In an attempt to find the phone’s owner, staff members searched Campos’ phone, only to discover graphic photos and videos of young boys. So far, in addition to the two victims who were first identified by FPD, five new victims of Campos have come forward.
