Donald Trump Jr. will serve as the keynote speaker at the Tennessee Firearms Association Legislative Action Committee’s (TFALAC) annual meeting in September, the group announced Thursday.

TFALAC is calling its 2023 Annual Event an important part of its media campaign opposed to Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s call for a special session in the General Assembly to consider possible gun control legislation, known as “Red Flag Down.”
“The TFALAC 2023 Annual Event is part of an extremely important initiative known as “Red Flag Down” which is a media campaign built to defeat the Red Flag Law that Governor Lee is trying to force upon the people of Tennessee. He is attempting to enact his gun control agenda by calling a Legislative Special Session, as well as possible gun control packages in 2024,” the group writes on its website.
TFALAC’s annual convention – its main annual fundraiser – will be held at the Farm Bureau Expo Center in Lebanon on September 9.
General admission tickets are $80 per person with a VIP addon option of $500, which includes a separate meeting location with Donald Trump Jr., who TFALAC calls a “nationally recognized Second Amendment advocate.”
Revenue generated by the event will be “used in the state to defeat gun control proposals, support Second Amendment candidates for the State Legislature and to support pro-Second Amendment legislation.”
“This year, a single donor, one who has stood by TFALAC since we started, has already stepped up and already agreed to underwrite the estimated costs of the entire event – approximately $20,000! This means that almost every sponsorship, donation, vendor, table sale and ticket sale is going perhaps 100% to the “war chest” we need to elect the right 2nd Amendment stewards to the Tennessee Legislature,” the group further notes on its website.
