Idaho News
The organizers of the Greater Idaho movement have filed a complaint with the Elections Division of the Oregon Secretary of State’s office. Movement organizers claim mailers opposed to Greater Idaho ballot measure 32-007 were sent to Wallowa County mailboxes without specifying who is paying for them, which is required by law.
The Greater Idaho movement wishes to expand Idaho’s border to include several eastern Oregonian counties that feel they do not align with Portland, Salem and other western Oregon cities’ politics.
Movement organizers also claim that ads are running on Pluto TV in opposition without proper disclosure. The ads are not acknowledged on Western States Strategies’, the group paying for the ads, website.
