Disney reminded its guests to be on their best behavior and show “common courtesy” to other guests in the parks after there has been an increase in fights among visitors.
Disneyland and Walt Disney World added courtesy sections to the “Know Before You Go” section on their website, reminding guests that any unruly behavior could get them kicked out of the park.
“We ask all who come to this happy place to treat others with respect, kindness, and compassion. To help guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, we regularly update our Disneyland resort rules,” reads the Disneyland website.
Additionally, the rules section asks guests to avoid “using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others.”
Similarly, Walt Disney Florida is asking visitors to “be the magic you want to see in the world” and treat others with respect, kindness, and compassion.
The warning comes after several brawls have broken out in the Florida resort and the California park this past year. In 2019, a violent fight broke out at Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland.
In May, a viral video posted online showed security trying to break apart a fight in which several people were involved during the park’s Fantasmic! firework display. Similarly, in July, a woman suffered a head injury during an altercation between two families.

“We do not condone this type of reprehensible behavior. Disneyland Resort security intervened swiftly, deescalated the situation, and removed the guests from the park,” a Disneyland spokesperson told Fox 11 LA.
