Project Veritas (PV) released a new video from its Secret Curriculum series Monday, exposing a middle school English teacher from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who claims to be an “anarchist” who indoctrinates children against their parents with the ultimate goal of overthrowing the American system of government.
Tyler Wrynn is an eighth-grade English teacher at Will Rogers Middle School. In the video, Wrynn is heard describing himself to the undercover PV journalist as “an anarchist.”
“So, I have a rather large TikTok following,” Wrynn said, according to the video. “I’m an authority figure. So, I [publish] a Christmas message of, ‘Hey, if your parents don’t love and support you for who you are this Christmas, f**k them. I’m your parent now. I love you. Drink some water. I’m proud of you.’”
The English teacher is heard stating that a “problem,” for him, in Oklahoma is House Bill 1775 Emergency Rules.
“Trust me, I want to burn down the entire system,” he admitted.
“I can get my license revoked for it, for being too woke,” he said. “I broadcasted too much last semester, so …”
In the video, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe explains Wrynn once called himself Tyler Parks and taught at the Owasso 8th Grade Center until he resigned last April in the wake of his TikTok videos being exposed by Libs of TikTok.
“Parents were outraged,” O’Keefe noted, after Wrynn posted his TikTok video in which he told students “f**k” your parents, I’m your parent now,” circulated on social media.
Though Wrynn left Owasso, he found himself a new teaching post at Will Rogers in Tulsa – only 11 miles away from his previous school – where he continues to proclaim himself an “anarchist.”
“They couldn’t stop you,” the PV undercover journalist is heard telling Wrynn in the video. “Obviously you’re teaching, so that’s good.”
“No, they definitely couldn’t,” Wrynn responded. “Owasso was like, they were super – they didn’t want to stand up to the parents, which I get. I mean, it’s Oklahoma, so what are you going to do?”
“But, they definitely didn’t f**k me over, like nothing went on my record,” he added. “I could resign instead. So, I didn’t, like, tarnish my teaching experience with them.”
“Tyler’s 2021 social media was filled with praise for the devil and anti-American rhetoric, and he deleted that content prepping for his new teaching job,” O’Keefe explained in the video, revealing several of Wrynn’s posts, including one that says, “Remember, class. Satan loves you,” and another that reads, “If your parents aren’t accepting of your identity I’m your dad now.”
On his TikTok account, Wrynn provides access to his “secret curriculum,” O’Keefe notes, a list of books “he wants to hide from parents,” one that includes Critical Race Theory titles such as How to Be an Antiracist, Savage Inequalities, White Fragility, Killing the Black Body, and Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People.
O’Keefe said Wrynn has recently attempted to change his image on social media by suggesting he is just an “alternative teacher.” He is currently “mocking accusations he indoctrinates his students,” O’Keefe added.
In one video, for example, Wrynn posted, “Things I, a radical leftist teacher, said this week to indoctrinate my students: ‘Yes, you have to write in complete sentences. This is Comp 1.’”
Over the summer, Wrynn created a GoFundMe fundraiser so that he could “update my classroom library with more inclusive YA [young adult] books.”
“I will say Gen Z is like super progressive,” he is heard telling the PV journalist. “I taught in Missouri last year, no, not last year, but two years ago. I taught a philosophy 101 class. We took a political quiz, half the kids were like radical progressives.”
The “problem” legislation Wrynn is heard discussing in the video is HB 1775 Emergency Rules, the text of which states its purpose is to set the policy of the Oklahoma State Board of Education:
… to prohibit discrimination on the basis of race or sex in the form of bias, stereotyping, scapegoating, classification, or the categorical assignment of traits, morals, values, or characteristics based solely on race or sex. Public schools in this state shall be prohibited from engaging in race or sex-based discriminatory acts by utilizing these methods, which result in treating individuals differently on the basis of race or sex or the creation of a hostile environment.
“Parents and legal guardians of students enrolled in public schools in this state shall have the right to inspect curriculum, instructional materials, classroom assignments, and lesson plans … no public school shall interfere with or infringe upon the fundamental rights of parents to determine their child’s education,” a section of the bill titled “Parents Rights” states.
According to the video, in addition to parents, Wrynn has issues with religion as well.
“Eventually, you want to remove Christianity – or religion [as a whole] – from progressive thought, because religion is inherently hierarchical,” he is heard saying.
In the first video of PV’s “The Secret Curriculum” series, Connecticut Assistant Principal Jeremy Boland of Greenwich Public Schools revealed his strategies to ensure he never hires “Catholics” or “conservatives” in order to guarantee the children in his school are exposed to “subtle” left-wing indoctrination.
Jennifer “Ginn” Norris, the student activities director at elite, private Trinity School in New York City, touted in the second PV video of the series that she “sneaks” her left-wing political agenda into classrooms “wherever I can.”
Norris was heard showing her contempt for “white boys” who push back against her political activism at school, and boasting about how she can control the level of indoctrination to which students are exposed at the school because of her position.
As student activities director, for example, she told the PV undercover journalist she would never allow Republican speakers to come into the school.
The third video of the series featured Todd Soper, assistant principal of Neighborhood Charter Schools in Harlem, New York City, who revealed if teacher candidates fail to respond correctly to his Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion question during an interview, “they are an automatic Not Hire.”
A New York City middle school English teacher told a PV undercover journalist in the fourth video she encourages her students to engage in political violence by teaching them “to throw bricks,” not to “black and brown communities,” but at “the people that are actually doing the things that [need to] change.”
