Wisconsin Democrats have used the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson, which overturned the constitutional right to an abortion, as a fundraising pitch.
The decision from the Court will now leave abortion policy to each individual state to craft legislation.
Because of the decision, the Wisconsin Democratic Party has urged individuals to financially support the organization in order to win elections in November
“In Wisconsin, you have Democrats doing everything in their power to fight back against WI’s abortion ban – and on the other hand, Republicans not only welcoming it but pledging to go further. Become a monthly donor to help us fight this fight in Wisconsin,” Ben Wikler, the party chair, tweeted.

Subsequently, he claimed Democrats “need to win Wisconsin this fall” in order to solidify abortion access in the state:
“END OF QUARTER DEADLINE: in order to codify abortion rights into law nationally and protect abortion access in our state, we need to win Wisconsin this fall,” he added.
On the other side of the political aisle, Republicans have celebrated the ruling as a win for the pro-life movement.
“Today’s Supreme Court decision represents a historic victory in the fight to protect the unborn, an affirmation of our Constitution, and the return of policymaking back to the people and our elected representatives, as our Founders intended,” said Wisconsin GOP chair Paul Farrow after the ruling. “Republicans have always believed in the sanctity of life – that it is precious and worth defending. As we continue to push for recognition of the value of human life, Republicans will continue to speak up for unborn children and vulnerable mothers and families. We welcome all Wisconsinites who believe in the sanctity of life to join us.”

Oh nice wisc. Enjoy all of that, at least until your election results are de-certified next week. You know, the results from one of the most corrupt states there is.
