New polling gives Kari Lake a 12-point lead over her competition in the Arizona GOP gubernatorial primary, according to the Trafalgar Group.
The survey, which spoke to more than 1,000 likely Republican voters in the state, showed Lake at 38.5 percent. Her closest competitor, Karrin Taylor Robson, picked up 26.7 percent.
Meanwhile, former Congressman Matt Salmon tracked behind the two frontrunners with 14.7 percent. Paola Tulliani Zen and Scott Neely failed to collect double-digit support.
“NEW polling confirms, once again, that Karrin Robson has no path to victory. She’s wasted MILLIONS of her husband’s money as a Candidate. Imagine how much of your money she’d waste as a Governor. Thankfully, that will never happen,” tweeted Lake in response to the numbers.

Lake has maintained her status as the frontrunner of the race for the majority of her campaign. After announcing her candidacy, Lake was endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
“Kari Lake is running for Governor in the Great State of Arizona. She is a fantastic person who spent many years working as a highly respected television anchor and journalist. Because of this, few can take on the Fake News Media like Kari. She is strong on Crime, will protect our Border, Second Amendment, Military, and Vets, and will fight to restore Election Integrity (both past and future!). She is against Covid lockdowns, Cancel Culture, and will end ‘woke’ curriculum in our schools,” Trump explained in a statement.
Polls have consistently shown that Karrin Taylor Robson is the closest individual to Lake. While Lake has received the endorsement of Trump, Taylor Robson’s string of endorsements have come from state and local leaders: Corporation Commission Chairwoman Lea Marquez Peterson, State Senator T.J. Shope (R-Coolidge), and former Arizona Governors Janice Brewer and Fife Symington.
