While I have no use for Starbucks I have even less for unions.
Unions are great if they stick to their purpose which is negotiating worker’s pay, benefits and representing employees in disagreements with management. But, than the unions get political and it’s always with the democratic party that gets members payment money to the union to protect employees ending up in politicians campaign funds and pushing things members don’t really want. Our union pushed abortion, defending LGBT and pushing special privileges for LGBT employees over all other employees. If your union just takes care of their members and not get into politics they are great. The union and the democratic party always seems to want legislation that members don’t want. In my plant it was families (moms and dads) working and kids getting out of college and working to get married. Moms and dads and future moms and dads aren’t interested in LGBT sexual activity being pushed by the unions using the members money and we don’t want our grand children murdered by our children. Union suing our money should be using to push on what we want to donate to, let us vote on what to donate to. Enough said.
Unions are nothing more than Democrat money laundering operations. Unions don’t really care about the rank and file, as f the union leadership thinks they will lose their positions they will roll over. Example the the grocery store unions in California in the early 2000 combs Store’s, Ralph’s , Safeway, etc successfully shut the Unions out. The unions almost went broke and had to cave to the grocery stores. It did not work out for the rank and file, but the union leadership kept their jobs snd paychecks.
