The Tennessee-based Nurse Freedom Network is hosting a Healthcare Homecoming Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 that will focus on restoring patients’ rights and truth in medicine and will feature the world-renowned Dr. Peter McCullough.
The free event, held Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Shed, located at the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee, will include around two dozen speakers plus entertainment. A fundraising dinner with Dr. Peter McCullough to support the Nurse Freedom Network will be held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the historic Maple Lawn in Brentwood.
Nurse Freedom Network, a newly-formed 501(c)3 nonprofit, was founded by Sumner County’s Kimberly Overton, BSN, RN. As a critical care nurse, Overton worked the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic in an ICU but left the bedside when she became uncomfortable with the treatment protocols, specifically Remdesivir – which was, for a period of time, singled out by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a drug to be avoided in the treatment of COVID-19. WHO has since revised its stance to recommend the use of Remdesivir for mild cases of the disease.
Overton spent the following year working as a telephone triage nurse. Although she was exempted from vaccine mandates as a remote employee, with the absence of available safety data she could not in good conscience recommend the vaccination, as her job required, to otherwise healthy children against a virus that has a 99.9815 percent survival rate, she said.
YahooNews reported in July 2021 that a clinical study by Bristol Royal Hospital for Children suggested the survival rate in children was slightly higher, with 95.995 percent of patients under 18 years of age going on to recover from the illness.
The Nurse Freedom Network Overton founded as a result of these experiences has a mission of advocating for medical freedom for healthcare workers and informed consent for all. The organization offers advocacy, education, and nursing services, with nurses dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Overton has been traveling around the country, expanding the Network, forging relationships with like-minded healthcare professionals, and speaking at healthcare freedom-related rallies and events.
Speakers for the Network’s upcoming event include Dr. Peter McCullough, the renowned cardiologist who is also one of the top five most-published medical researchers in the U.S. and is credited with developing an early treatment protocol for COVID-19.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Paul Marik, co-founder of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance, will be joined by Kristina Morros, clinical director of FLCCC; Robert Scott Bell, host of The Robert Scott Bell Show; Ty and Charlene Bollinger, The Truth About Cancer; AJ DePriest, Tennessee Liberty Network; Gary Humble, founder of Tennessee Stands, as well as Melissa Schreibfeder, BSN, RN, BC-NC, Nurse Freedom Network’s director of clinical research, and Overton.
Entertainment will be provided by country duo Carvin Walls and Uncle Jam.
The Saturday event at The Shed is free, but donations are appreciated and attendees are encouraged to RSVP and bring a lawn chair. Tickets are required for the fundraising dinner on Friday. Additional information is available on the Nurse Freedom Network website.
