Ohio Right to Life, a grassroots pro-life organization, endorsed J.D. Vance in the state’s U.S. Senate race to replace retiring Senator Rob Portman.
The organization selected Vance over the three other candidates considered front runners in the race: Jane Timken, Josh Mandel, and Mike Gibbons.
“The Ohio Right to Life Society is proud to offer our full endorsement to Mr. Vance as he navigates these remaining days of the primary. Ohio Right to Life believes that J.D. Vance is the best candidate to continue the exemplary pro-life service and statesmanship currently demonstrated by Senator Rob Portman. J.D. Vance is 100 percent pro-life and we are confident that he will not only advance the cause of life but defend the unborn from Planned Parenthood and their allies in our nation’s capital. J.D. Vance will be a great U.S. Senator,” said Marshal Pitchford, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Right to Life Society.
In response, Vance pledged to continue his unwavering dedication to the issue.
“I’m so honored to have Ohio Right to Life’s endorsement and support in this race,” said Vance. “For many years, Ohio Right to Life has been an incredible advocate for the unborn, for the elderly and for those who love the most valuable members of our community here in Ohio. I’ll be an advocate for all those people in the U.S. Senate and an ally of Ohio Right to Life as we fight for a day when our law and culture protects innocents as much as we know they should.”

Vance’s campaign seems to be picking up steam as the GOP primary draws closer. In recent weeks, he utilized a series of debates to blast Mandel and Gibbons over their support for a no-fly zone over Ukraine.
Furthermore, a poll conducted by a pro-Vance Super PAC showed the bestselling author tied for first place.
