Washington, D.C. and Nashville, Tennessee – Stephen K. Bannon’s War Room and The Star News Network announced on Monday the formation of a strategic partnership between the two conservative media outlets that will focus on “hyper local” stories at the state, city, and county level.
Since its launch in October 2019 Stephen K. Bannon’s WarRoom has become one of the most widely viewed live programs in the country, with an additional 140 million plus downloads on its podcast. In addition, today, it is launching a WarRoom brand extension of a new one hour show focused specifically on battleground states in the 2022 midterm elections. The Star News Network content and team will be inextricably connected to this program.
The rapidly growing Star News Network is based in Nashville, Tennessee and currently operates 11 state based digital news sites-including Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida, among others. It anticipates having digital news sites in 20 states by Election Day 2022, 40 states by the end of 2023, and all 50 states by Election Day 2024.
As part of the strategic partnership, WarRoom will feature interviews with Star News Network reporters and personalities, as well as timely video clips from the network on a daily basis.
“Our strategic partnership with The Star News Network will enable us to feature stories that highlight the hyper local nature of the precinct strategy, moms taking over school boards, and American patriots becoming election officials. The idea that everyday supporters of MAGA can become an increasingly powerful force within the Republican Party by engaging in the process of selecting committeemen has become a national movement,” WarRoom host Stephen K. Bannon said.
“The dynamic behind our partnership is that Star News provides what local newspapers and television have ceased to cover–hard hitting political and economic news and analysis. Star News Network is at the cutting edge of this revolution,” Bannon added.
“The Star News Network will dramatically expand the reach of our stories through this strategic partnership with WarRoom,” Star News Network CEO Michael Patrick Leahy said.
“Every time I appear on WarRoom, I hear from everyday citizens around the country who live in states where we currently operate digital news sites, as well as states where we plan on launching digital news sites in 2022 and 2023. More frequent appearances on WarRoom by Star News Network reporters will significantly expand our presence in every state in which we currently operate, as well as states in which we will soon operate,” Leahy added.
