Members of the Williamson Families PAC are scheduled to host a County Election Kickoff event next week that features country music star John Rich, actress Leigh-Allyn Baker, and former professional baseball player Jeremy Slayden.

The kickoff will reveal 19 candidates endorsed by Williamson Families PAC for the 2022 Williamson County election. The primary is scheduled for May 3, while the general election is scheduled for August 4.

Members of the PAC have scheduled the event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 8, at Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The Factory is located at 230 Franklin Road in Franklin.

Big John Smith will emcee the event.

Organizers said in a statement that they will charge $10 before March 3 and $20 thereafter. Tickets are available at the door, and food and drinks are available for purchase.

Organizers will hold a 5 p.m. VIP Social Hour with Rich, Baker, and Slayden along with Williamson Families’ endorsed candidates for $250 per ticket, according to a statement from the Williamson Families PAC.

PAC Chair Robin Steenman said in a statement that the PAC’s singular mission is to restore conservative leadership to Williamson County.

Rich is best known as one-half of the country music duo Big & Rich. He is a three-time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, owns the downtown Nashville music venue Redneck Riviera, and hosts The Pursuit! With John Rich on FOX Business. Rich recently testified before the Tennessee House Criminal Justice Subcommittee Wednesday regarding legislation dealing with pornographic and obscene material in K-12 Tennessee schools.

Baker appeared on the sitcoms Good Luck Charlie and Will & Grace. She now lives in Tennessee. Slayden played baseball at Georgia Tech and then for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Anyone who wishes to attend the March 8 event may purchase tickets at williamson-families.org

The Williamson Families PAC announced the digital launch of its website and social media in October.
