Former President Donald Trump on Friday raised concerns over election integrity in Wisconsin, citing potential irregularities that have been proposed over the past year.

In the statement, Trump called on lawmakers within the state to put forth a resolution to “decertify” the state’s election results.

“This is on top of massive ballot harvesting, rigged ‘indefinitely confined’ votes, the Wisconsin Election Commission instructing election officials to break the law, Zuckerberg drop boxes, etc. So who in Wisconsin is leading the charge to decertify this fraudulent Election? It’s time for RINOs to step forward and save our Country!” he said in a release.

President Joe Biden narrowly defeated Trump in the state by approximately 20,000 votes.

In addition to Trump’s statement, Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney on Friday charged five different individuals for voting illegally in different Wisconsin elections, three of which voted in the November 2020 election.

“We’re talking about five cases, (and) two other cases that we previously filed, so seven total cases in Fond du Lac County,” Toney said at a press conference. “It is clear that that would have had no impact on any election results as far as who would have won a race, and we’re in no way saying it would have impacted that.”

Previously, Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling accused the Wisconsin Elections Commission of sending individuals into nursing homes in the state and violating state law.

Furthermore, the Wisconsin Supreme Court denied a request from the state elections commission to keep absentee ballot drop boxes for upcoming local elections in April, maintaining a ruling from a lower court in the state that prevented the boxes. The ruling is a temporary order until the underlying case is resolved.
