A Minnesota gubernatorial candidate released a video statement saying that he stands with the Canadian truckers.
Truckers feed our families and are the unseen force which creates "normal" for society.
From Minnesota, to Canada, and beyond… I stand with them.
They make sure we have everything we need; and they may just save us from tyranny. pic.twitter.com/5lZLqJxWqU

Dr. Scott Jensen, a frontrunner in Minnesota’s 2022 gubernatorial election said, “From Minnesota, to Canada, and beyond… I stand with them.”
He said, “They make sure we have everything we need; and they may just save us from tyranny.”
Truckers that convoyed across Canada have been gridlocking streets in Ottawa, Alberta since Saturday. They say they will not leave until all COVID-related mandates have been lifted, however, the Daily Wire reported that Ottawa city leadership is considering calling in military support to remove the truckers.
Another gridlock has been occurring at the border of Alberta and Montana, where truckers have gridlocked the border crossing between the United States and Canada. After negotiations on Wednesday, the protesters agreed to partially unblock two lanes of traffic.
In the Twitter video, Jensen said that it is great to see people in Canada standing up for health freedom and standing up against immoral COVID vaccine mandates. Jensen’s messaging appears to lead itself favorably to voters, as his popularity has increased in recent days.
Jensen polled well in the initial February 1 caucusing, ending the straw poll with the majority of votes by a wide margin.
In the caucus poll, Jensen obtained 38% of the votes, while the other frontrunners, State Senator Paul Gazelka (R-East Gull Lake) and Dr. Neil Shah each received less than 15% of the votes. The other three candidates fell lower than 12%.
We did it! YOU did it!
Yesterday, every-day Minnesotans were the heroes, and they will be again in November. People from all walks of life stepped into the arena & came out in droves to support our movement. I'm humbled by the support our campaign received.
