Mike Pompeo, a former secretary of state and director of the Central Intelligence Agency under former President Donald Trump, will be the keynote speaker at events for the Center for Christian Virtue.
According to a release from the group, Pompeo will address the crowd at two separate gatherings: the Spring Celebration Galas in Columbus and Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati event will be held on April 9 at the Duke Energy Convention Center, with the Columbus event following on April 30 at the Columbus Renaissance Downtown.

Pompeo has become a staple of Republican politics since leaving his position in the Trump administration. Last summer, he started a political action committee (PAC) to support GOP candidates across the country.
The organization, known as the Champion American Values PAC (CAVPAC), permits him to travel the country and raise unlimited funds for campaigns in local, state, and federal elections. For example, he endorsed Sarah Huckabee Sanders for Arkansas governor.
Furthermore, he has remained critical of President Joe Biden’s administration:
“President Biden’s actions indicate that he simply doesn’t believe a Russian invasion will have much impact on Americans. But were President Putin to achieve his objectives, a Russian-controlled Ukraine would have major implications for the American people. Energy prices would skyrocket due to the invasion’s effect on global energy markets, directly affecting how much it costs for every American to heat their home. Instability in Europe would strain our economic relationships there, resulting in less jobs here at home for Americans,” he wrote in an opinion piece for Fox News on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Some reports have rumored that the former Trump official is considering a presidential run in 2024.
