Two suspects in separate murders in Georgia were arrested in Tennessee Monday, according to reports.
“The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said 29-year-old Alyssa Danielle Wild of East Dublin, Georgia was pulled over in Franklin,” according to WTVC. “Wild is charged with murder in the death of 38-year-old Charles Stephen Holmberg of Cuthbert, Georgia. Holmberg was found shot dead Saturday in a vehicle parked at a motel in Dublin.”
Wild is being held in the Williamson County Jail after her arrest. Authorities said she was in a relationship with Holmberg, and more charges are expected to be filed.
Monday evening, another Georgia murder suspect was apprehended in Tennessee, this time in Scott County.
“According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon Wiseman was taken into custody around 7:30 p.m. Monday. He was found in an abandoned home in Helenwood. Oneida Police, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and U.S. Marshals aided in the arrest,” WJHL said.
A manhunt was on for Wiseman, who is suspected of shooting and killing a person Sunday morning in Murray County, Georgia. The victim in that shooting was identified as 42-year-old Joshua Dewayne Petty of Chatsworth, Georgia.
There, he will face charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime and a probation violation.
He had wreaked havoc Sunday in McMinn County, where he was reportedly involved in a police chase. When he eventually pulled over, he let his sister out of the vehicle and then kept driving. His sister was apprehended but he was able to flee. Police later located the vehicle he was driving, but not Wiseman, who apparently fled on foot.
Wiseman could face charges for evading arrest in Scott County, and other charges in McMinn county.
