2. @Public_Citizen shares a graphic contrasting the Rittenhouse situation to that of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
Travyon Martin was an unarmed 17-year-old kid. He was killed carrying a bag of skittles. The right-wing called him a threat.
Kyle Rittenhouse was 17 years old and armed. He shot and killed 2 people with an AR-15. The right-wing calls him a hero. pic.twitter.com/JursSJFT7j

3. @DrPaulGosar says, “As I said last year, obviously self-defense,” and he will “arm wrestle @mattgaetz” to get Rittenhouse as an intern.
Justice was served for #KyleRittenhouse and he is fully exonerated. As I said last year, obviously self-defense.
I will arm wrestle @mattgaetz to get dibs for Kyle as an intern. https://t.co/kon65IB1d9

5. @benshaprio says, “Anyone with a prefrontal cortex who had watched the trial for more than 30 seconds knew” that not guilty was the right verdict.
Not guilty was the correct verdict. Anyone with a prefrontal cortex who had watched the trial for more than 30 seconds knew this. Anyone who says differently is a lying hack.

8. @CoriBush calls the case “white supremacy in action.”
The judge. The jury. The defendant.
It’s white supremacy in action.
This system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free.
I’m hurt. I’m angry. I’m heartbroken.

9. @megynkelly says, “Justice was done.”
Justice was done. Kyle Rittenhouse was unfairly maligned by a dishonest press, and politicians who used him to advance their own fortunes. If there are riots, these smear merchants will shoulder much of the blame.

10. @keithboykin says Rittenhouse is “proof that white people can still break the law…”
I knew it. Kyle Rittenhouse is proof that white people can still break the law, carry illegal weapons, shoot and kill people, and get away with it in America by shedding tears and claiming self-defense.
