State Representative Glenn Gruenhagen (R-Glencoe) called for a forensic audit of the 2020 election results in Minnesota. In the video, Gruenhagen referenced two organizations, Midwest Swamp Watch and the Minnesota Voters Alliance, that have been doing research into the Minnesota elections.
Gruenhagen explains that Midwest Swamp Watch is a subcommittee of the Republican Party in Minnesota.
He said, “According to their research, 39% of Minnesota ballots were not connected to a registered voter as of November 29, 2020, five days after the Minnesota Canvassing Board met and certified the election on November 24.”
Gruenhagen said 39% of votes not connected to voters included, “700,000 absentee ballots that were not connected to a registered voter.” He said, “We need a forensic audit here in Minnesota to find out what the actual vote count was.”
In the video, Gruenhagen also showed a report from Seth Keshel, a military veteran and election data analyst. Keshel’s report showed ten counties in Minnesota with “strong/rampant fraud.” Those counties included St. Louis, Anoka, Wright, Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Carver, Dakota, and Olmstead.
According to Keshel’s research, the amount of Democrat votes tallied did not match the population growth percentages. Keshel believes this would imply that many votes in Minnesota were fraudulently cast, due to the amount of votes in comparison to population rates.
Gruenhagen believes that those ten counties at least need to have a forensic audit. He also shared the link to a petition where three states, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, are working together to get forensic election audits done.
The petition, titled Minnesota Election Audit, has over 4,000 signatures and is growing. Gruenhagen said, “We are trying to create a groundswell to have the legislature address the forensic audit here in Minnesota.”
He said, “If we don’t solve these problems and there was major fraud, and we have to find out for sure, then we’re never going to have another fair and accurate election again in the future.”
“I don’t think anybody in this state would want that,” Gruenhagen added.
Wisconsin has already begun its election audit. As The Wisconsin Daily Star reported, “The Wisconsin Officer of Special Counsel’s Justice Michael Gableman explained the parameters of the Wisconsin election investigation in a video released [last] Monday.”
