For several months, I have demanded that Governor Brian Kemp carry out a full forensic audit of Georgia’s ballots from the election last year. Growing evidence indicates that either fraud or gross negligence occurred that potentially swayed the result of the presidential election. But for one reason or another, Governor Kemp refuses to act. It’s long overdue for him to perform the job that he was elected to do. We simply can’t wait any longer.
On June 17, I held a press conference at the State Capitol in Atlanta exposing irregularities that occurred when ballots were tabulated in the presidential election. As the investigative news outlet Just The News reported, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger received a report in November that his office commissioned with a private contractor. The report exposed the disaster of the election in Fulton County.
Just The News reported that the contractor “recorded troubling behavior like the mysterious removal of a suitcase of sensitive election data known as polls pads, used to authenticate voters.” This contractor “also observed that sensitive election materials were left on a dock at a warehouse without supervision.” The full report documents troubling and revealing events that occurred throughout the entire process of Fulton County officials tabulating votes. It’s a disaster that should never happen again and should have never happened in the first place.
Secretary Raffensperger’s office also collected documents “during a risk-limiting audit conducted last November” that exposed discrepancies with mail-in absentee ballots. Just The News reported that more than 100 batches of mail-in absentee ballots containing 100 ballots or more each were not “recorded in the handwritten logs showing which batches were scanned and counted, raising concerns the ballots may be missing.”
Additionally, more than two dozen batches of mail-in absentee ballots were scanned twice in tally sheets. And five more batches of ballots “each appeared with the exact same vote count of 392 for Biden, 96 for President Donald Trump, and 3 for Libertarian Jo Jorgensen, a count that state officials admitted was a statistical impossibility,” according to Just The News.
And to make matters worse, Secretary Raffensperger received all of this information in November yet lied on national television in January in an interview with 60 Minutes. In fact, he stated that Georgia “had safe, secure, honest elections.” And if Secretary Raffensperger knew all this information as he continued to lie to the public, Governor Kemp knew what was happening as well. Georgia’s leaders failed the people they were elected to represent and failed to protect the integrity of the election that had major implications for our nation’s future.
The situation has spiraled out of control to the point that a state judge recently ordered a private audit of mail-in absentee ballots in Fulton County. Lawyer Bob Cheeley is leading the audit and has reportedly found discrepancies. He told Just The News that there appears to be evidence of “election tabulation malpractice.”
Unfortunately, none of this news should come as a surprise. The Georgia Star News reported in May that “officials at the state and county level in Georgia have failed to produce chain of custody records for more than 333,000 absentee vote by mail ballots deposited in drop boxes located around the state” in last year’s election. To put that into perspective, President Joe Biden’s margin of victory in the state was less than 12,000 votes. The inability of Georgia’s elected officials to carry out an election is damning.
Governor Kemp and Secretary Raffensperger owe the people of Georgia a lot of answers. Why wasn’t there full transparency in counting votes? Why is the chain of custody missing for so many ballots? Why haven’t we implemented a statewide forensic audit yet? Do our elected leaders have something to hide?
From day one, I said there was a dead cat at the end of this line, and the stench continues to grow with each passing day. Despite what the liberal media may say, the evidence is there that fraud determined the outcome of Georgia’s election last year or that gross negligence completely undermined the integrity of our election.
Governor Kemp, it’s time to conduct a statewide forensic audit in Georgia and find the answers that we have all been seeking. We know it’s possible because Arizona’s Maricopa County is carrying out a forensic audit as we speak. Unless you have something to hide, it’s time for you to act so that we can restore faith back into the integrity of elections here in Georgia. It’s already alarming that you and Secretary Raffensperger knew what was happening this entire time but chose to continue lying to the public for so long. If you fail to call a statewide forensic audit, I strongly suggest that you consider submitting your resignation.
