Former President Trump, the 2024 GOP presidential nominee, said Wednesday he will debate Vice President Harris, the Democratic nominee, in the “pretty near future.”

This past weekend, Trump said would no longer participate in the Sept. 10 debate on ABC News with President Biden, who dropped out of the campaign and endorsed Harris.

“I hear she’s sort of a nasty person, but not a good debater,” Trump said on “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday. “But we’ll see because we’ll be debating her I guess in the pretty near future.”

He said an agreement with the Harris campaign would be announced soon.

“It’s going to be announced fairly soon. But we’ll be debating her. I would like to see it on Fox, by the way,” he said. “I’m all for Fox. I think Fox would do a really good job. But two people have to agree.”
