President Biden is now the frontrunner in the 2024 presidential race against former President Trump “for the first time since October,” according to a Fox News national poll released on Thursday.

“Since May, there was a 3-point change in the presidential race. Trump was ahead by 1 point last month, while Biden is up by 2 points today: 50 percent-48 percent,” read a report from Fox News about the poll. “That’s well within the margin of error.”

In the survey, 32 percent of respondents gave Biden positive marks on the state economy, which Fox News said is the highest level of his presidency.

“Biden’s current 50 percent support is his best this election cycle; he hasn’t been ahead of Trump since October 2023 and that was by just 1 point (49 percent-48 percent),” read the Fox News analysis.
