U.S. Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN-05) introduced a bill on Thursday that would require the White House to notify Congress of each instance the president takes certain drugs relating to cognitive function.
Ogles’ “No Juicing Joe Act” would specifically require the White House to alert Congress when the president takes a drug that could alter his alertness, judgment, or mood.
The bill, filed as H.R.8736, was referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability upon introduction.
On Episode 12 of his show Restoring the Republic, Ogles said his bill is “important” going into the 2024 presidential election as the White House has, so far, refused to administer a cognitive test of President Joe Biden amid multiple instances where the president appears to be in states of confusion.

“We know that [Joe Biden] is receiving some type of cocktail to help him with his cognitivity, his ability to function, for him to have any energy – and since the White House won’t give him any tests to that end, we’re asking that he submit and notify Congress when he’s taking any sort of cocktail or anything that might alter the state of his mind and his ability to perform,” Ogles explained.
“This is really important as we go into this election. People need to understand: Who is Joe Biden? Is he really capable of being the leader of the free world? I don’t think he is. I think most world leaders realize that he is not capable, which is why you see the world in a state of disarray right now,” Ogles added.
The congressman said that while he feels “sorry” for Biden, he said he believes the Democrats are taking advantage of Biden’s position as president to “control this country and control you.”
“I feel sorry for Joe Biden. I don’t really think that he knows at times where he is or who he is, and that is a shame. One might argue that it’s elder abuse. This is about power. This is about them wanting to control this country and control you, and I encourage you to fight back,” Ogles said.
Ogles’ bill comes two weeks before Biden is set to participate in a presidential debate at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta on June 27 against former President Donald Trump.
