A state senator is attempting to keep drag queens away from Minnesota kids with a bill introduced at the Capitol.
State Sen. Eric Lucero, R-St. Michael, has introduced SF 933 to classify drag queen performances as adult entertainment.
Lucero spoke to Liz Collin on her podcast about the bill and other topics from the legislative session.
“As we look back the last number of years, we’ve seen an incremental approach by radical progressives to go after our children, targeting their minds, and introducing them to topics that are not appropriate. And as we’ve seen recently now, whether it be in public libraries or other venues, children are being exposed to the performances of drag queens. And what my bill seeks to do is to classify these performances as adult entertainment,” Lucero explained.
Lucero is petitioning parents for their support for the bill.
“We’ve gotten to a point now where absolutely, that’s what we need to do is to classify these sexualized grooming performances as adult entertainment, again, not to just protect the safety of our children physically, but to protect their minds, because that’s what these performances are doing is they’re targeting the minds of our children, desensitizing them and making it so that our children are more receptive to this, again, unhealthy sexual behavior,” he added.
Lucero said the “legacy media” has either ignored the issue or given it a positive spin.
He thinks people need to follow alternative media to know what’s really going on and come down to the Capitol to “make their voices heard.”
Sen. Lucero also expressed his frustration with the “trans refuge bill” that passed the House early Friday morning.
“This is not just bad policy. This is even beyond evil. This is truly a satanic agenda,” Sen. Lucero said.
Gov. Tim Walz recently released a revised budget proposal that calls for expanding the state budget by $17.9 billion, more than the entirety of the state’s budget surplus.
“What are they going to spend it on? Well, they’re going to create new agencies, and they’re going to expand existing agencies to the tune of 2,300 new state employees,” Lucero said.
“These are state agencies that are already bloated, that are already inefficient, and they want to just simply double down and make it even worse, growing government on the backs of over-collected money from taxpayers, when taxpayers themselves are struggling just to get by in their day-to-day lives due to inflation, increased taxes, and the other types of expenses that are in their lives.”

ay that Spirit of truth in Sen.Eric Lucero spread to all the rest of us
Adults can haul off to see drag shows or whatever they bloody well want to see, no skin off my nose or off the noses of many other adults. The fact remains: children are immature by definition and have no cognitive tree for sexuality. It is inappropriate (to say the least) to steep children’s brains in a fetid stew of sexualized images. For God’s sake, let them first be innocent KIDS without enlisting them in perverted campaigns of gender wars. Those would turn children into politicized soldiers are no better than totalitarian drones.
NO More of this BS
Drag shows and drag queen story hours should be banned period! They have NO place in our society, they are sick and perverse! Our kids do NOT need to be subjected to any of it! Leave our kids alone you disgusting sickos!
Well, It’s about time some one stood up to the radical Left.
