Reps. Schiff, Swalwell, and Omar Will Lose Their Committee Assignments: Report

Speaker McCarthy confirms Democrat U.S. Representatives Adam Schiff (D-CA-30), Eric Swalwell (D-CA-14), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN-05) will be stripped of their committee assignments in the new congressional session, the Associated Press’ Farnoush Amiri tweeted late Monday.

“Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector. I’m not going to give him a government security clearance,” MacCarthy reportedly said, in part.
