Arizona Representative Debbie Lesko (R-AZ-08) recently took action in an attempt to protect threatened pregnancy centers in Arizona.

“Radical pro-abortion activists are planning attacks on Choices Pregnancy Centers [Choices] in Arizona in the wake of the anticipated Dobbs v. Jackson decision. I am demanding that the Department of Justice take swift action to prevent these attacks,” Lesko said in her newsletter.

Lesko spoke further about her actions in a press release, including a letter sent by Lesko to the United States Attorney General Merrick Garland.

“I am horrified by the reports that radical pro-abortion activists are planning attacks against pregnancy centers in Arizona that provide vital support for pregnant mothers and their babies,” Lesko said. “I am demanding that the Department of Justice take the steps necessary to prevent these attacks and prosecute those who commit these violent acts to the fullest extent of the law.”

The letter, co-signed by Arizona Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ-05), Paul Gosar (R-AZ-04), and David Schweikert (R-AZ-06), asks the Department of Justice to investigate and deter the violence planned against Choices and other pregnancy centers in Arizona.

According to the letter, ANTIFA member Marysa Elizabeth Levya is allegedly the leader of Jane’s Revenge, a radical pro-abortion activist group. Levya released a map of Choices and other pregnancy centers around Arizona that she reportedly said should be destroyed.

“Pregnancy resource centers like Choices offer many free and low-cost services to mothers and their babies, including free pregnancy tests, free ultrasound, prenatal care, post-abortion care, free diapers, free baby clothes, and much more. Mothers and children in need of these services must be able to seek them without fear of violence from domestic terror groups like Jane’s Revenge,” according to Lesko’s letter.

Gosar also released a statement about attacks on pregnancy centers.

“Meanwhile, in [a] clear act of domestic terrorism, more than 40 pro-life pregnancy centers across [America] have been attacked or vandalized by a pro-abortion domestic terrorist group called Jane’s Revenge since the leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion noting that the Supreme Court may finally overturn Roe v. Wade. The terrorist group has warned of additional attacks in the days to come,” Gosar said in his newsletter. “I pray for the safety of all pro-life healthcare providers facing threats from these lunatic leftists.”

According to Fox News, the FBI began investigating the attacks on pregnancy centers and faith-based organizations Friday. The FBI is urging anyone who has information on attacks or potential threats to contact them immediately.

Furthermore, according to Catholic News Agency, the White House condemned threats against pregnancy centers after Jane’s Revenge released a recent statement that threatened an “open season” on pro-life clinics.
