Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk will join J.D. Vance on the campaign trail in the final days of the U.S. Senate primary contest in Ohio.

According to a release from the Vance campaign, the duo will make appearances across the state as a part of Vance’s “No BS Town Hall Tour” on Sunday and Monday.

“As the only candidate in this race endorsed by President Trump, it is time to rally behind J.D. Vance for U.S. Senate in Ohio,” Hawley said in a statement shared by Vance’s campaign. “J.D. will make a great senator, and I look forward to joining him in the Buckeye State.”

Notable Republicans have flocked to the state in support of the bestselling author as the GOP primary comes to a close. Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Delaware County, touting Vance as the “best chance to defeat the radical Democrat nominee for the U.S. Senate this November.”

Furthermore, the former president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., made multiple stops to rally supporters to the polls.

“J.D. is a proud America First champion who will fight to secure our border, rein in Big Tech, and put an end to illegal immigration in America. I proudly endorsed J.D. in this critical race in September, and I’m excited to get to Ohio to help get his message out to voters and secure his victory on May 3,” Kirk added.

In recent weeks, Vance has surged to become the front runner in the race. A Fox News poll placed him in the lead with 23 percent of support. Josh Mandel was the closest contender at 18 percent.

A separate survey, conducted by a pro-Vance superPAC, gave the candidate a substantial lead over the field – placing him at 39 percent when voters are aware of the Trump endorsement.
