President Joe Biden boasted in his State of the Union address Tuesday his administration “will continue to combat the [COVID] virus as we do other diseases,” but Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) and numerous physicians say the suppression of early treatment by Biden and his political, media, Big Tech, and Big Pharma allies has already “cost hundreds of thousands of lives” in America.

Johnson said in a statement following the address Biden “seems oblivious to the harm his administration and policies have caused” Americans:

His failure to direct federal health agencies to research and recommend early treatment has cost hundreds of thousands of lives. His coercive mandates and other actions failed to end the pandemic – more people have died of COVID-19 under his watch than under the previous administration – but they have exacerbated our societal divide, keeping schools closed, firing front-line workers for making their own health care decisions, and shuttering businesses.

Indeed, Biden and his health officials ignored the pleas from many doctors and scientists to treat the COVID infection “as we do other diseases,” by promoting early treatment with drugs that have been available and utilized for decades.

While other “third-world” countries were able to successfully treat their citizens with drugs such as hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and ivermectin (IVM), Biden and his administration participated in the smear of these medicines in order to promote the vaccines as the only course of action. The scheme instilled fear in many Americans who believed there were no medications to treat COVID at the first sign of symptoms, to prevent them from having to be hospitalized or, worse yet, dying.

“This continues the same fraud of the last two years, that HCQ and IVM are not useful for early outpatient COVID-19 treatment,” Professor of Epidemiology Harvey Risch, M.D., Ph.D., at Yale University told The Star News Network regarding Biden’s remarks.

“That fraud is the linchpin of death,” Risch added. “Most of the almost one million U.S. COVID deaths could have been prevented by early use of these medications.”

Cardiologist and early treatment champion Peter McCullough, M.D., discussed with Liberty Counsel Chairman Mat Staver “The Four Pillars of Pandemic Response,” which include efforts to reduce the spread; early treatment; do the best you can in the hospital; and vaccinate and efforts to end the pandemic with natural immunity.

Biden, in his address, however, first boasted his American Rescue Plan “fueled our efforts to vaccinate the nation and combat COVID-19,” and then touted “four common-sense steps as we move forward safely” from the pandemic, including, “stay protected with vaccines and treatments.”

“We’re also ready with anti-viral treatments,” he continued, commenting on Pfizer’s Paxlovid and Merck’s molnupiravir COVID-19 antiviral oral treatments.

“If you get COVID-19, the Pfizer pill reduces your chances of ending up in the hospital by 90%,” Biden asserted, adding:

We’ve ordered more of these pills than anyone in the world. And Pfizer is working overtime to get us 1 million pills this month and more than double that next month.

And we’re launching the “Test to Treat” initiative so people can get tested at a pharmacy, and if they’re positive, receive antiviral pills on the spot at no cost.

If you’re immunocompromised or have some other vulnerability, we have treatments and free high-quality masks.

We’re leaving no one behind or ignoring anyone’s needs as we move forward.

“Biden has committed huge amounts of taxpayer money to enrich Pfizer and Moderna by giving ‘free’ pills to persons who test positive for COVID,” said Jane Orient, M.D., executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), in comments to The Star News Network.

“It is good that the federal government has finally recognized that COVID is treatable, especially early,” Orient acknowledged, but added the following notes:

  1. Early, affordable treatment has been available for nearly two years, but both information and availability were suppressed. Hundreds of thousands of patients probably died needlessly.
  2. Treatment is best given as early as possible–delaying to wait for a positive test could prove fatal.
  3. Tests are unreliable, giving both false positives and false negatives.
  4. COVID likely requires sequential, multi-drug treatment, not a single magic bullet.
  5. Paxlovid is a protease inhibitor combined with an anti-HIV drug (ritonavir) to prolong its action. Ritonavir has many potentially serious drug-drug interactions. Ivermectin is a more effective protease inhibitor, which has 19 additional beneficial actions.
  6. Merck’s molnupiravir induces mutations and could cause both birth defects and cancer.
  7. Hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and other re-purposed drugs have an excellent safety record in hundreds of millions of patients over decades.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last week, historian John Leake and McCullough likened the ridicule and censorship of doctors who treated COVID early with hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to the criticism hurled at Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis for his urging that physicians wash their hands to reduce infections.

“COVID-19, the illness, SARS CoV2, the virus, has always been treatable,” McCullough said during his CPAC address. “And the best doctors, using the best drugs at hand, in combination, have found ways of helping people through the illness to avoid two bad outcomes: hospitalization and death.”

“And we needed leadership in Washington to say that,” he asserted. “And what we saw out of Washington was completely unacceptable. We saw a chill on any attempts to treat the virus early.”
