With the democratization of information, we are witnessing an immensely beneficial development for every American. This development is best recognized by the fascistic attempts of Big Tech, the Pravda media, and the Biden Administration to destroy it.

As many have noted, social media has empowered individuals to pursue their happiness and shape their destinies to an extent unimagined in human history. While many are more familiar with the economic and social aspects of the internet (hence, the term “social media”), it is the political dimension that most frightens the Left.

Given their perpetually failed, morally bankrupt, coercive agenda, the democratization of information is an existential threat for the Left and to its psychotic aim to “fundamentally transform” the most prosperous, powerful, and equitable nation ever known.

In the most obvious example, the corporate media and its “fact checkers” refused to share with the public the bombshell revelations found on Hunter Biden’s laptop for fear it would harm the electoral chances of their candidate, Joe Biden.

Exacerbating their self-censorship in the service of aiding their fellow leftists, they allowed for the propagation of the lie by former deep state actors and, yes, Biden supporters, who deliberately implied the laptop was “Russian disinformation.” The irony, of course, is that this lie was the very definition of disinformation. The Pravda media, in a risible ruse, had its fact checkers cite their very own disinformation, as did Big Tech’s fact checkers, to censor any other mention of Hunter Biden’s laptop by actual news outlets like the New York Post; and then infringed the First Amendment rights of citizens attempting to exercise their constitutional rights of free speech and participate in a presidential election. (It is intriguing to ponder if such deliberate censorship by the Pravda media and Big Tech constitutes a tortious interference with one’s political rights.)

Regrettably, many instances of the Left’s weaponization of censorship abound, such as the banning of “disinformation” that ultimately turned out to be accurate about the genesis of COVID-19.

In the instance of the Pravda media, it stems from the rise of “accountability journalism.” In a nutshell, it allows the Left to ignore any claim of objectivity in their reporting, in order to serve a “higher truth” and “greater good”—specifically, the leftist agenda. It assumes one’s leftist ideology is the only acceptable one; and, ergo, its premises and conclusions are infallible. Any challenge to their personal partisan premises and conclusions are ipso facto erroneous—i.e., “disinformation.”

Accountability journalism is but a thread in the suffocating pillowcase of leftist sophistry and indoctrination being proselytized in what were once institutions of higher learning.

Leftists only know what they’ve been told; and they only talk to each other. Elitists to the core, they have no concern about ever being censored. Of course, they are effectively being censored every day, but are too ideologically blind to realize it. They have been educated to obedience, and when censored, they consider it a teachable moment to accept punishment for their civil sins; and, rather than being angry at being censored, they are grateful to their comrades for not cancelling them altogether.

But it doesn’t stop with censorship. This gaggle of leftists also seeks to impose an entire, unconstitutional social credit system on you. And, as with their lust for censorship, they expect to be the ones who will define, determine, and impose this social credit system. Equally, they again fail to realize they are already living within a nebulous social credit system premised upon COVID-19 vaccination status—or, if they do, are quite pleased with it and themselves (though not necessarily in that order.)

Ultimately, the Left is striving to keep its heinous political and cultural agenda safe from the democratization of information. To cite an immediate instance, when parents share revelations about critical race theory being taught in schools and seek to organize against it, the Left’s censorship machine churns.Former President Barack Obama lies that the Left’s cultural indoctrination of America’s school children is but a right-wing myth; leftists on a national school board organization conspire with the Biden Administration to demonize dissenting parents who believe this “right-wing myth” as domestic terrorists; based upon disinformation laundered through the Pravda media, Biden’s Department of Justice is now going to collaborate with local school board members to keep them “safe” from these potential domestic terrorists.

The constitutionality of the Justice Department’s actions is questionable; its chilling effect upon the constitutional rights of parents is unquestionable. Yet, if not for the spirited hue and cry about this censorship, we would likely already see Big Tech labeling and/or banning dissenting parental opinions regarding critical race theory in K-12 classrooms on the grounds of “safety.”

But in this patriotic outrage lies hope. The democratization of information has empowered parents to educate themselves about their children’s education; organize with other parents to hold their elected officials accountable, and promote constructive change. Moreover, as is unfortunately necessary, it is enabling them to defend themselves in the court of public opinion against those who would censor and silence them.

There is an important lesson lurking in all of this going forward: the loudest voices for censorship are the largest fonts of disinformation.
