The siblings of U.S. Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ-04) slammed their brother in a recent opinion piece for his behavior, claiming their brother “betrayed America.”

“Although his colleagues in Congress and others in the media seem to only recently be paying attention, we have been aware of his unhinged behavior for years,” the trio of Gosar siblings wrote in their piece published by NBC Think on Sunday.

The siblings listed a series of events around which their disdain for their brother centered. Mainly, the group is disgruntled due to Gosar raising concerns over the security of the November 2020 election.

“The extremism of your beliefs is finally getting the media attention it deserves. What should happen now is that you resign. Sadly, this seems unlikely. This means unless your colleagues step in, you are likely doomed to go down in history as a cautionary tale: a person who betrayed his family, his country and even himself,” the group claimed.

This is not the first time Gosar’s siblings have made national news. While the recent opinion piece was only written by three of the members of the group, all six siblings endorsed Gosar’s 2018 Democratic opponent. The group also appeared in political ads for Democrat David Brill.

At the time, Gosar slammed the political move by the group and his opponent.

“These disgruntled Hillary supporters are related by blood to me but like leftists everywhere, they put political ideology before family. Lenin, Mao and Kim Jong Un would be proud. It is unfortunate that my opponent chose to use family political differences to launch attacks on me rather than focusing on the issues,” Gosar said.

However, Gosar went on to win the election handily. He defeated Brill by more than 38 points.
