Patrisse Cullors, one of the three original founders of the national Black Lives Matter organization, is revealed to have called for the total destruction of the state of Israel in a recently unearthed video from 2015, as reported by Fox News.

The video is from a panel at Harvard Law School seven years ago, featuring Cullors and other far-left activists. The panel was titled “Globalizing Ferguson: Radicalized Policing and International Resistance,” and was hosted by Harvard’s Human Rights Program. During the panel, Cullors recounted her experience visiting Gaza and the West Bank, and described alleged “violence” and “terror” carried out against Palestinians by the Israeli government, despite offering no evidence to back up any of these assertions.

She then went on to describe Palestine as “our generation’s South Africa,” and said that “if we don’t step up boldly and courageously to end the imperialist project that’s called Israel, we’re doomed.” To this end, she voiced her support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, a far-left and jihadi-sympathizing movement that seeks to force American companies and government entities to condemn and boycott Israel.

The Left’s opposition to Israel has become more pronounced and even more radicalized following a nearly two-week period of fighting between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Hamas suddenly began launching thousands of rockets into Israel in an unprovoked wave of attacks, forcing Israel to retaliate with calculated strikes that killed several Hamas leaders. During the fighting, many Democratic and far-left figures voiced their support for the Palestinian terrorists, equating their “struggle” with that of Black Lives Matter in the United States. A ceasefire was negotiated after 11 days, with mediation from Egypt.

The reemergence of the anti-Semitic comments is the latest scandal for Cullors, who announced her sudden resignation from BLM on Friday. The last of the three original co-founders to resign, Cullors had been plagued by a scandal that emerged in April when it was revealed that she had purchased four luxury homes across the United States, spending well over $3 million on the purchases. She was also further implicated for spending over $26,000 on a trip to a luxury resort with the pro-BLM group “Reform LA Jails,” using the organization’s money to do so. Her excessive and extravagant spending had led to criticism from within Black Lives Matter, with some movement figureheads calling for her resignation and others calling for an investigation.
